It is one of the advanced surgical techniques in minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) consists of making a small incision of approximately 1cm, through which passes a working cannula through which an endoscope is introduced, which in turn through an optical light allows to visualize in a wide and magnified way the field of work, it is possible to access the site where the surgery will be performed directly without dissection of normal tissues. Some interventions that can be performed using this technique are spinal decompressions (laminectomy), hernia resection (microdiscectomy) and spinal fusion.
Management of Cervical and Lumbar Radiculopathy with Vertebral Blocks: Procedure in which by means of needles and fluoroscopic guides (X-Ray) medications are administered directly into the affected nerve in order to manage pain triggered by herniated discs or narrow neural canal.
