Education and constant training is essential, we must keep in mind the ability to teach and train other spine specialists. I am currently a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Antioquia, I also work as an educator and trainer of national and international doctors for a multinational company called Nuvasive (a company dedicated only to the creation and innovation of systems for spinal surgery) in which I taught minimally invasive techniques in spine. This gives me deep satisfaction because by sharing my knowledge I contribute not only to the academic achievement of a professional in the field but also to that of a patient and all that surrounds him/her.
